Technical Dualogic Doblo 11 no gear indication on dash

I hope someone can help. My car drives perfectly with no problems from the gearbox. I have just realised that there might be a dash fault. The led information display shows time, mpg etc but there is no indication of gear selection that the manual states should be showing. Any ideas where the fault might lie anyone? Is it dash or gear selector end?
The vehicle has only 20000 miles. Thanks
