General Door Check Strap (3 Door)

Just been quoted £36 for a door check strap at my local Fiat Dealership. . . WOW ! Can anybody source one any cheaper ? Regards

HI .....i just fitted on on our 5 door m8 cost me a fiver from the breakers yard..... i have a spare drivers side door roller but havent got the stay that bolts to the car but if its any use to you what bit has broke ????

I need the full thing as mine has nothing at all where it should be only the rubber gasket. Appears to have been removed by previous owner and not replaced for some reason. The 3 door & 5 door are alsodifferent. Thanks for you offer - very kind of you. Regards alsimmo

they cant be that different ......i took my new one off a 3 door @ the breakers and it fits and wirks a dream on our 5 door you need passanger or drivers side ???

Ive just cross checked on ePER and the 3 door is 51760099 and the 5 door is 51760102. Thanks very much for your input. Regards

Sorry to disappoint, but I think they are 'sided', i.e. not the same left and right...

the sprung roller is on the opp side on opp doors .....

I thought so to at first but when you look in to the itemised list on ePER it says you need 2 of them ?? I presume this is for one either side - I think they must be concentric and just flip over maybe. Good topic for tonight anyway lol Regards alsimmo

How they justify the increase I don't know!
