Technical Do fuel saver magnets actually work??

Was flicking through eBay and saw this

Do they actually work like they say they do?
And most importantly would they pass the mot with these fitted?

They would pass an MOT but as for working, the concensus on the other forums I've been on is .

If it was that effective and cheap all manufacturers would fit them as standard
