Technical Daft question about phones

hello,

my panda has no bluetooth thingie.

my panda does have a power socket.

I have a fiddly mobile phone (samsung galaxy tab).

My objective is when stuck in traffic to be able to phone home and report such. I do not want to have to faff & fiddle with thingies. Voice activation is preferable. still working with phone in handbag in boot is an added bonus.

Anyhoo. Any suggestions as to what I need - thank you.

PS Am on a budget and not looking for high end.
