Technical crank sensor wire length

hi guys,

just a quicky found out what the problem is wire sei sporting 1.1 mpi,
crank sensor but on buying a new one they have said there are two types for this car long one short one, but on looking at the one on car which was bought second hand, the sensor on there the wire is very long when it reaches the connector theres about 4 to 5 inch of wire hanging over,
it that right or not, they have asked me to take the number off it but if its the wrong one put on car,

Check the vin against EPER.

IS better to get a longer one than the shorter one . (They all the same)

As Rallycinq says, check against the VIN number (it always makes sense to use a dealer that can do that).

I think the long one may be for the 899. The working ends (at least) for the 1108s are all the same.
