General cinqs on motorways

No motorways exter onwards!

mainly dual carriageways from exeter onwards when i went to falmouth in febuary. though it has some steep hills which are single you need the momentum on to not get stuck behind a slower car as limited overtaking space as they have an overtaking lane on the outside. they were working on a nice looking straight section of dual carriageway which looks like it should be open by now anyway.

just to give you an idea of the hills my 1.4 tipo with just me in it and a full tank of fuel pretty much. was struggling to accelerate above 60 or 70ish in 4th. though thats probably the weakest band in the gearing. the sidewinds were quite strong though.

well, i drove all the way to Wales on saturday @ a comfortable speed with nly the rumble from the powerflow exhaust annoying me

Fine cars on the motorway, followed a rep in a Bora all the way home

I was on the motorway this evening in my 899cc Cinq with no worries. It'll happily sit at 65-70 mph. OK, the Stilo is faster and more comfortable but as Serin's sig points out, it's not as much fun.
