central locking failure

Morning all, first of all happy new year. Secondly my key fob has stopped working.
The battery is fine but no buttons work. Is there a way of locking the whole car as using the key hole only locks the passenger door? Many thanks

have a look in the GP section,
pretty sure this will have been covered several times,

it's sometimes down to interference..( radiowaves)

Hold the unlock button as you turn the key in the lock - worked for me when the key fob stopped working, it's almost like a key 'relearn'

Hi when using my central locking I seem to have to stand right next to the car and point it at the reciever in the front dash for it to open, the battery is brand new and therefore eliminated that so I think it's the reciever but don't know how to check

Can anyone help
