Technical CAT vertical

Could someone please confirm that seicento sporting 2002 reg has a vertical cat box on it?

If you mean is the CAT part of the manifold so that it sits behind the rad, then most probably as the Sei Abarth 51 plate I have access to has a CAT like this rather than under the floor.

Indeedy, all MPI have the CAT in the manifold and two lambda as well, one either side of the CAT.

It makes it a bit of a pig to work on and, adds cost to a failed CAT. I can't see the point unless it helps emissions?

The closer the CAT is to the engine the quicker it heats up, the quicker it works at reducing emissions.

IMO, its the most sensible place for the cat to be, heats up quicker and out of the way of large puddles and damage from grounding.
