Technical Car problems

Hi everyone i am new to the Fiat world. I have a 2004 Fiat Palio 1.2 Four door and since i got the car its water temp has gone in the red a couple of times. I have a few of other problems but this my first priority Please help
I love my Little Fiat.

Is the fan OK..?
Do you notice that it starts working.?

Agree...check fan is coming on as it shouldbe, or it maybe a sticking thermostat.
Also just check header tank that you dont have beige coloured oily water (head gasket going)

Hi i checked the fan is going on and the all water pipes are 100% i am going to check the thermostat tomorrow, i dont think it can be the head gasket thow.
i am also going to drain all the water and fill it up with antifrees.
hope everything works fine because parts are expensive in nelspruit
another thing that is worrying me is that if i hit a small bump on the road or even turn hard i get a weird noise coming from the left hand side. i think it might be the shock mounting or the shock it self.

Be sure to use a 50% dilution of anti-freeze and distiled water ( no tap water).

Did you sort out the overheating issue. My 1.6 Weekender is fine for weeks and then suddenly overheats. Head redone, thermostat replaced, radiator checked.
