I'll go with no, if you do go the load resistor route note several resistors in parallel means you can use lower wattage ones so( 10 watt bulb ) 1 20 ohm at 10 watts or 2 40 ohm at 5w each?
One of those "WHO KNOWS" questions! but a friend of mine did have to fit the resistors when changing to L E D tail lights!

only things i know about electricity is its invisible! and if you get it wrong it hurts and is usually expensive!.
the only ones id try to change is the DRL,S as the bulbs fail often and are so darn tricky to fit! dont know if you can get capless LED,S of the right type though!
