any body know where or if the bravo has an aerial amplifier fitted in line from the roof aerial before the lead anters the head unit ?

getting really bad reception on FM and aerial seems to be to blame, head unit has the 12v aerial feed but where does it go as at the aerial base it only has the coax ??

Cheers,

any idea which pin that is on the iso block ??,

its a Fakra type connector onto the aerial base (and a cow to get at )!!

anybody else experienced poor reception ahne changing original HU ??

The standard radio provides the 12v supply to the aerial through the centre conductor of the coax lead. If you fit a replacement head unit, you will need an adaptor to feed the aerial from a separate supply, unless the new HU has an option. RTFM?
