500 Brand new-radio won't turn on?

Brand new Fiat 500 picked up this morning. It has blue-me. Neither a quick press nor a long press of the radio on button will bring it to life. Is there something special that has to be done the first time it goes on? A key code or something?

Hi, and welcome,
I hope you've sussed it by now,

it MAY be like my system..( punto),
it's in MEDIA or similar..and you have to switch modes.. probably best to ask in the 500 section - as they will be talking about the same gear..!!,

It should switch straight on. I'd check the fuse, or return it to dealer if its not working at all.
