Styling Body contour kit - foglamp replacement ?

I apologise if I bore those who have seen this posting elsewhere.

A while ago I got a replacement fog lamp as one of mine (the n/s) has a broken lens.

I tried to fit it but it was not quite as easy as the handbook shows, and on a cold day I shelved the job pro tem. But now I really must get the job done.

My old shape JTD has the colour matched and contoured bumper and sill kit fitted. The fog lamps do not have the QD plastic bezel as is fitted to the standard black coloured bumpers, which makes replacement and bulb renewal look so easy. On mine, the white lamp unit only is fitted into a bracket moulded into the back of the bumper. – NOTHING LIKE THE STANDARD FITTING IN THE BLACK BUMPER MODELS.

So it looks as if I will have to remove the wheels and half remove the bumper to get at the mounting bolts, or find a way to remove the intercooler to allow access. Is that correct ? I am sure there are one or two who have this option fitted too !

Capitals used to prevent helpful souls telling me how the standard assembly is easily removed. TIA
