I ride a hash of bikes neither are what they were originally, infact on both its just the frames are original
2002 giant ac team (before the early hydroforming came in and make the thing another 1" longerwheelbase), with lots of goodies, mainly hope stuff and shimano xt, with a loose dashing of race face diabolous componants.
its big, 6" of sponge, weighs circa 33lb's (so not light really), but she'll go UP, DOWN, ACROSS anything, been everywhere on it, and I'm not up for changing the frame yet (all the bits will carry onto a newer something).
thats the 'current' big bike.
pictures, mmm rather not show TBH, too many things getting stolen right now thank you very much
THE singlespeed, made up from all sorts of bits lying in my garage from bikes of past over th last 6years. the feature of coure a 1997/8 hope Ti glide wheelset which cost me nothing back in 1999/2000 (nowt wrong just they weren't disc compat) and 6/7years ON they are still rolling beautifully smoothly. more than can be said for more modern hope hubs
from the name you'll have maybe guessed she has ONE gear, and ONE brake :worship:
she's a HT (hard tail, so just a fork), but I enjoy this bike more than my big bike because its so simple and requires no maintance really, just hack n splash n dump in a pile when i get home.
unlike the big bike which requires hours of loving every time she goes out
