Banging/knocking noise

Ok sorry if this is in the wrong place but just wanted to know if anyone had this problem or if anyone knows what the problem is?

When I go over bumps, or small imperfections in the road I have a knocking/banging nosing coming from the back (it's nothing in the boot or the parcel shelf) it doesn't happen every time and it doesn't matter if big or small imperfection or bump

I will be taking it to the garage next week when it open but just thought I'd ask what it may possibly be?

Hi mate,

Could be several things, usual suspects at the rear could be rear shocks if like you say you have ruled out spare wheel, parcel shelf etc.

What model Fiat do you have? then this can be moved to your specific section where you will get more detailed model specific info.

I got 58 plate grande punto

Haven't actually thought about the spare just emptied all the bits that were in boot will check that Tomo

Have also checked that exhaust not loose but I don't have a clue with cars lol
