I think the problem with your seats is you have that extra padding that prevents it from folding further down. Even with the original seat covers it never goes completely flat it sits up at probably a 10-15° angle. Until you put something on top of it.

Peter would know for sure, I am sure he has transported all sorts of things in the back on his numerous trips.

This is an old thread, I know, but I thought I'd add some updated photos.

She's still a work in progress.

Currently I have 2 leaky wheel cylinders, so probably need to replace with new shoes to get though WOF / MOT.

Also still working on the bonnet seal – I think the underside profile of my aftermarket bonnet might be slightly different to original, so it doesn't clip the seal when closed. TBC.

Need to work out a way of fitting my stereo console.

Also need a replacement interior door pull.

New Bambina badge for boot lid on the way.
