Hello

Is this safe for alloys with regular use as i understand its acidic? I've read on other forums that it could damage the wheels after a while. I've been looking at the AG Custom Wheels cleaner as its not acidic but would this not clean as well? Anyone used either cleaner? I've got some second hand alloys for my Stilo and theres some ground in dirt that shampoo won't shift.

Thanks

Phil

I've just been reading about a product called 'Sonax' which has got good reviews. It's available from Euro Car Parts for £4.39 at the moment http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/c...r-cleaning/wheel-cleaner/?549778391&0&cc5_111
I could reserve this stuff online and go and pick it up from my local store. Anyone used this stuff? Seems good value.

When you next do a full valet on your car, remove the wheels, so you can clean the backs and fully clean them [ wash, de tar and iron x ] once they are fully decontaminated , polish and wax them . Alot of work i know but once they are fully waxed you will only need car shampoo to clean them.

I did this about three months ago
Using;

Autoglyms tar and adhesive remover
Iron x
Polished with Autoglyms super resin polish
Then coated with two coats of Autoglyms HD wax .

Now every couple of days my wheels get a wash with Autoglyms bodywork and shampoo conditioner.
