General anyone know how to virginise an ecu?

can anyone help me please, i need to virginise a secondhand ecu i have and i don't know how.:chin:
are you willing to spend a lot of money for the proper tools ?
Are you prepared to brick your second ecu when something goes wrong?
i can virginise your ecu for 79 euro plus 15 euro for the return shipping costs NL to UK, that will be much cheaper than buying expensive equipment....

crikey i did'nt know it cost that much. i plugged it into my car before i knew about the re program on the stilo and my car fired up no problems. i have changed many an ecu for a used one and all i have ever done before i let the ecu sit off of a car for 48 hours. if your all saying it needs virginising then i believe you all and will get it done. thanks for all your help.(y)

it should.....

but then again if you have plugged it in and it all works why bother??? theoreticly it shouldnt turn on as the code for the immobilizer will be matched to the old car/key not to yours...
