You could the remote start but i wouldnt want that. And turbo timer i havent even looked into it tbh

If you are buying an alarm to get cat 1 security level and you then put a remote start on its pointless as remote start removes the cat 1 level and maybe cat 2 aswell but i cant remember.
I've got a CAT 1 on mine aswell - it was an option from my garage though and isn't wired correctly cos it's meant to be full closure but it doesn't shut the windows when I lock it I'm gonna upgrade to a clifford at some point tbh

Ive just recieved my alarm and wow.... cant wait to get it fitted, but I think im going to get a professional to do it cause I will fluff it up! Now to find some one that does it! lol

Right ive rung round for quotes on fitting my alarm.... £100 to.... £600... I nearly laughed when they said that.... I feel confident to fit it but im not good with diagrams... If I had someone telling me what they meant then id understand....

I'm good with diagrams and electrics but tbh mate you can seriously **** up your car by fitting an alarm wrong as you can screw the immobiliser lol. I'd get it done by Fiat tbh

Id get it done by a proper audio/alarm place not fiat. They mechanics not electricians

lol good point! Although i've heard people mess up the fitting quite regularly - at least if Fiat mess it up it's their problem!
so youd rather have a claim on your insurance pushing up your premium, weeks of waiting for the claim to be put through, going to see your once pride and joy a twisted wreck or burned out shell and the constant paranoia that it might happen again? (ive been there and got the t-shirt)
and imo if youve got a new car id leave it to professionals, too many wires in them and if you screw up theres loads more to go wrong, if its an older car id do it myself
