Hi everyone ,

What’s the best racing clutch to get for my abarth 500

The thing to keep in mind is that this car is my daily

I’ve done a few bits to the car so the clutch slips when you put your foot down lol

Any suggestions would be suggested

Are you confident that the clutch is not just worn? Too many power takeoff from standstill? Miss matched revs on gear changes?

Not sure but I thing the Punto Abarth 1.4 uses the same clutch and I think there are a few of these tweaked cars out there as well.

The amount of power can play a big part in the clutch you need, high power clutches can make a lower powered car pretty undrivable

There are loads of 500s that come as standard with anything up to 190-200hp with a normal clutch, there are people running cars tweaked to over 220 -240 hp without racing clutches.

You’d need to know what the actual power output is before knowing what to recommend, it may also just be a weak old clutch and a new normal standard clutch would be perfectly adequate
