2004 megane

anyone any knowledge of these?

im in my dads at the moment and there is bad vibration on the engine and its firing correct. I think there is too much play in the top engine mount. are these famous for throwing engine mounts?

Gearbox mount, or misfire due to coil

I know the previous shape Megane's were prone to the gearbox mounts going snap.

checked the coils, no problems there, everything firing correct, best way to describe it on tickover is it is like a washing machine thats overloaded so it doesnt seem balanced.
im worried about the left hand upper mount as it seems to have a lot of play. its the bush/mount on the left hand side of this pic, just before the strut mount
