Bleed nipples come in various diameters, with long and short versions. Also UNF and metric threads.
Forget UNF, as it will be metric, for which there are M6x1mm, M7x1mm, M8x1.25mm, and M10x1.25mm. From samples in my oddments box M8 nipples have 8mm spanner size, and the M10 have an 11mm spanner size. In a catalogue only the M10 of these last two comes in long and short versions. The long version has a length of plain shank behind the hexagon.
