Technical 1997 TURBO scudo gearbox

Hi every one, I have a 1997 scudo turbo diesel , the gear box needs replacing and I mistakenly bought a Dispact box but it wont fit. I cant imagine that Fiat built a gearbox for just this model of van, Does anybody know what other box will fit in? Some sugested a Fiat Brava?? The van is a good one but the price of recon ing the box init is very high. any idea's?? Thanks Roger

scudo dispatch and expert r all the same i was told is it the right year box

R Masters, what I have is a dispatch box, same as in a dispatch I have, the turbo version had a different box because the drive shafts are bigger

I have found the part number of the box in the scudo, it is 717 214 22, does any one know how I find out what other vechile that box was fitted in?? Thanks Roger
