Technical 1990 seat marbella 900cc pre- cat , what oil

Been reeming through the Internet for a couple of hours now but still can't find the correct oil I should be using , it's a 1990 seat marbella with the 900cc engine an no cat

Hi,
If the car will be used during winter I would recommend 10W40 semi-synth.

Looked in Haynes for the 903 Panda and spanish maintenance manual for SEAT Panda which both will be the same engine as the Marbella, and both state 15W/40 (the SEAT manual does mention use of 10W as well, but I imagine this is for when the car is only used in cold climates).

Personally I would stick to the 15W / 40 as you might burn more oil in the summer or when the engine gets hot in traffic (especially if it's done a few miles and the engine is worn ).
