Technical 18" tyres

Since there has been a lot of talk about 18" alloys recently, what tyres do people recommend?

Is there such a thing as an all round tyre that offers good wet and dry grip as well as sensible wear and fuel economy?

Whatever you do , dont get the avon zv5. Had them on my MPS and i was horrified to find them brand new ish on the bravo.

Falken 914 all the way , they are better in the dry and **** load better (more importantly) in the wet. 90mph wheelspin was nomore in the damp.

I've just bought new tyres and I went with Goodyear Efficient Grip

I know there pricey but pirrelli P-zeros all the way I had them on Enzo and they are fantastic!

Have a look in the croma section lots in there have been running 18's for years

I'm almost tempted to try a couple of the Nokians. I'm guessing the Finish climate isn't that different to Scotland...
