Technical 126 electronic ignition timing

I have a wasted spark ignition system on my 126 engine - it has the small dizzy with the black cap and no rotor arm (Marelli S152A) cannot seem to get the timing right as the engine now back fires through the carb and exhaust after being good before any idea's???
