I raised the issue, on here, of having a re-map not long after I got mine but the consensus was that the MJ put out 145nm of torque and the 'box was rated at only 150nm so although you could increase the power, there was really no headroom for an increase in torque, which, is possibly the raison d'etre of a diesel engine.
As it is the MJ has a likeness for producing clutch slip in the 2,000-3,000 rpm rev range, so there isn't really much room for maneouvre there. I made the suggestion that perhaps an uprated clutch might do the trick but I was told that this would simply place more strain on the gearbox.
