Technical 1.9 d timing belt snapped

hi guys, I need your help. My 1.9d has a snapped timing belt. The only apparent damage are 2 valves. When it comes to the pistons and crank, I can turn the crank and pistons using a spanner quite easily but I do not manage to turn the crank by pressing the pistons down. Should I check anything else, is this normal?

See my reply on your Tempra post. It is normal and I think you'll be fine.

PS does anyone think the Tipo and Tempra fora should be combined Brava/bravo style as I note members struggle to get answers on the Tempra forum. After all, surviving Tempra/Tipos need all the help they can get...
