Has anyone tuned this engine to produce more than 180bhp and if so reccomend the engine builder who can do this..

Would help if you told us what car the engine is out of?
i'm guessing Barchetta
You might talk to Guy Croft. I'd think that there are probably cheaper alyernatives to tuning that engine, though.

Yes ! The engine is the 1.8 16v twin cam found on the Barchetta, Punto HGT and Stilo but i own a Barchetta.
The Alfa Twinspark 16v engines are very similar, may well be that they share the same blocks, with perhaps just different heads though may well be a lot more differences than that, but anyway that's one route you could try looking into for more power. 1.8 16v is 140bhp and 2.0 16v is 150bhp approximately, and plenty of tuning options for those engines.

As far as I know GC hasnt done a full 1800 late 16v but I have seen him build a 1.6 conversion with that head which was over 200hp. But you'll need to be well financed to produce big power and you'll need someone in cyprus (I assume) to do a proper job of the tuning.
