General 04 Camper 2.8 Jtd Dash Display

Hi , I Have A 2004 2.8 Jtd Camper Van , It Was Main Dealer Serviced ,
Just After I Bought It, With Approx 3500mls On The Clock. I Have Had It Now 12 Months, With Just Over 9000mls.
On The Dash Display, Just Under The Time Of Day Clock, On The Speedo A Symbol Of A Spanner Has Just Come On .
Question 1, Is This Time Related ?, Or Mileage Related ?
Question 2 How Do I Get It Off Cheers

A bit obvious but it isnt anything to do with a service being due is it?

I would imagine its a dealer or garage job in order to extinguish the light

It could be that it thinks it's ill. According to my info, the major service intervals are 18000 miles not 9000. I can't remember if it's reset automatically by the diagnostics at your dealers to a preset number (such as plus 9000 from where it was) or whether they have to prompt it to do so. I'd get it checked at the dealer's in case it thinks there's a fault though. It might be that it thinks it needs servicing, as you suggest, because it's a year between services but I'm surprised the system would know that.

Sorted Now!!!!! It Was A Time Related Service Due, I Looked Up ,on Autodata, The Reset Procedure, And Reset The Icon, Thanks For The Help
