Can someone help me source a set of new gear cables for my friends Stilo 1.8? It's OE 55197636 & 55197635.. Shop4parts doesn't have them - and they'll be ~200£ from the dealership...

Ended up finding them in Latvia - not the first time, eastern european guys have got my back on spare parts that are nowhere to be found!

Hi, Do you know how hard the cables are to fit? I know they pop off the gearbox end but at the stick end they enter the sealed unit?

Sorry, didn't see your question until now.. They're absolutely terrible on the 1.8.. Virtually no room to remove the U-clip retaining the gear cable, on the gear box end. Underneath is okay, you have to removed an exhaust mount and the heatshield running along the tunnel.
