mariocinq I no what ya mean mate  your cars is pretty cool tbh and I'm liking the 18s you got for yours and I reconvene yours would cool with depo headlights :)

Yeah I just need to get some fresh headlights, I will then pull them apart and depo look them. Can't wait to get the 18's on and get it lowered, just hope I will still be able to get it on the drive lol its close at stock height lol

 that's the down size to lowering mate every little bumper makes you cringe incase it scraps the underside of the car

Only dropping it 30mm but my drive is stupid and has a hump in it at the path, it's like going over a speed bump lol. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed.

So what's next on the green machine???

Haha love the green machine name :D but the future plans are sort any body work issues out get it a good service sort a slight exhaust blow possibly lower it, sports exhaust, put a spoiler on it,drivers armrest, tint the widows, pressed plates with surrounds, upgrade all speakers, sun strip, dvd stereo with rear fold down screen and that's all I can atm but will probably find some more mods to add along the way

PMSL, short list then, be very careful with the pressed plates as they are a £1000 fine and 3 point I believe as they are not of proper construction, that's the only mod I would recommend you don't do.

I had them on my corsa for about a year and passed its mother with them on and the ones i get are street and mot legal as I no what you mean some don't give the reflective parts you need

you need to look at the exact wording in the DVLA rules, MOT isn't an issue as they don't care, its the police, a friend of mine got done for them on his golf, its up to you mate but you have been warned lol.

So small update really few more things done my gearknob insert was really worn so changed it heres how it now looks

Not sure, but you may need to carry out the proxy alignment procedure to be able to adjust the date and time.

Out of interest, are the oil pressure and temperature gauges working? or do they just remain at zero? I think only the 2.4 engine has oil pressure and temperature senders.
.

Cheers for the help davren not sure with the oil pressure/temp yet as not driven anyehere  but will post up the answer when i do today. How do ya do the proxy alignment procedure on the stilo

Either at a Fiat dealer on their Examiner machine, or you can do it yourself with MultiEcuScan. Assuming you don't have MES, if you add your location to your profile, someone close to you who does, may offer to help.

Not sure that it will cure your problem though. I think the display would show 00:00 if the time only needed adjusting. Perhaps the display is faulty.

Ye will add my location mate cheers for the help and the time is working aswell as the mileometer and no the oil pressure/temp isnt a working feature on mine whuch is a shane as would look cool with it giving readings

Does the oil pressure light work on yours? It didn't work on my JTD, so I modified the panel to use the spare 120km/h warning light, and ran another wire from the engine management ECU connector to that warning light.
.

wonder if its possible to retro fit the sensors and then get them working???

I do love the look of the Arbarth clocks but there are issues fitting them to the JTD's.

I investigated it a few years ago when I fitted the high level instrument panel in my JTD.

You could probably fit the oil pressure gauge sensor (13) into a banjo union with the oil pressure switch (9), but the oil temperature sensor needs to be screwed into the sump somewhere. I didn't fancy guessing a place to drill it in case the sump wall was too thin to be threaded, or there was an obstruction inside the sump.

Even if you fit the extra sensors, there's still a chance that they may not work.... The proxy alignment procedure may not recognise them because the wrong instrument panel had been fitted to a JTD. (Even though the handbook shows diagrams for it in a JTD).

Way to go would be to test it with 2 variable resistors first.
