Hi I was driving to work this morning and my car just randomly lost power and slowed down and all sorts of error lights flashed up.

I pulled over switched off and back on again and continued the journey.

Its quite worrying though, because what if it happened on a fast road.

Any ideas?

You best bet would be to try get it plugged into diagnostic. Could be anything that caused it so only way to narrow it down is by plugging it in and getting the error codes.

How much would that cost?

A local garage might plug it in for free, or you could see if anyone on here is local to you that has a diagnostic cable and software and willing to help. Or you could buy a elm327 diagnostic tool off Ebay cheap. Then get a copy of Multi ECU Scan
