I have purchased my new abarth
1 it's a selespeed
2 it's on an 05 plate thought they discontinued the auto version 2003.
3 it says registered April 2006 on logbook.

Does this sound right if so how come I have never ever seen a 06 selespeed

Would that mean that the car was in a show room or hidden in a dealers garage and only registered in 06 ? Or could it be that it has wrong paperwork? Registration and make year can be different that normal.

It shows on logbook reg 05 then reg in uk 06 so I think it's only the uk that stopped making selespeeds on a 53 and this may be an eu import

I thought they stopped them in 2004? I've never seen a manual before a 54 plate but I must admit I've never seen a selespeed after that year either? It may be worth investigating as that does seem strange?

It could be that it was a demo car that lay forgotten about or perhaps it was still an option that nobody wanted

Incidentally mines a 55 plate but was registered in January 2006

If you go on eper it will give you the build date
