Hey guys. Been a while since i've been on here but quick question of whats it worth? Time for a new car, somthing bigger.

After an honest figure of what you guys reckon i could possibly get for my 56 plate 1.4 stilo 6 speed, "BLUE" special edition with nearly 82,000 miles on it.

No service history is a downside as I do every thing myself and have parts receipts, only ever run on V-Power and washed every other weekend so well looked after.

My pictures speak for themselves. But downsides that will bring the value down is a small crack in front bumper, condensation in driver side headlight, and a water leak in the boot which I think is to do with rear lights but not had time to sort it out just yet but once found should be an easy fix. Other than that car is mechanically sound.

Has eibach sport suspension, tints, 17" Fiat S/S alloys but sprayed in white, Modified heater vents/CD fascia sprayed in white. All make the car look great!

I know stilo's are'nt worth much these days but there are so many mixed figures so need a realistic value.

Many Thanks

Post your pictures here so we can get an idea. :)

Not sure about the cost as I live in Romania, but just for your info, a car in that condition is worth around 4000 EURO here, depending on your options and how much it was messed with. An original car is worth more than a modified one here.

Just curious on how the pictures look, so if you have them around, feel free to share them with your fellow members. :)

Cheers.

some of those minor issues are easy fixes. the condensation especially, just open the light bulb access area and leave for a good few days - that's all I did, at the very least will have it respectable for sale.

I'd say about £2000 there abouts. I paid £1990 for my Sporting, but with higher miles. It did come with a great spec - AirCon (working), SkyRoof (working), claws etc etc, and looking at your car, its a real good example, so don't undersell yourself, best of luck!

quick question mate.... what color code is your car? im getting some work done and your colour looks loverly...just wondering what it says under the bonnet..

many thanks

The colour is Magnetic Blue and the code under the bonnet says 599/A (Blue Magnetico) :) It really is a lovely colour. Its a deep blue and has a sort of turquoise glitter in which when polished really shows up in the sun and gives a reflection lime ive seen on no other csr. It always gets compliments :)

Hope this helps

New Car in Jan/Feb

Sad to say I will be leaving the Ff come next jan/feb as I have a new car on order and it won't be a FIAT :( Moving over to the darkside of vauxhall. (Preparing self for abuse) The p/x price they have given me for my car is disgusting!! £750!! So basically come just after xmas i shall be doing my best to sell it privately. It will be up in classifieds around that time but just a quick heads up to anyone that may be interested or knows anyone who might want a stilo. TBH i will be happy to let it go for £1250 as a quick sale will be needed. Even though the discussion in my previous thread suggests i could get more I would rather see it go to someone who will appreciate it than go to a dealer :/

Edit: Please keep an eye on classifieds and See here for original thread and links to pictures https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/311884-thinking-selling-up.html

hey, Vauxhall make very good cars these days, they are infinately better than they used to be, its an old reputation that dogs vauxhall, liek most other makes!

£1250 i would say is VERY good indeed, i wish you all the best chap in your new venture!

I had an 05 Astra 1.6 a few years back, didn't give me any grief except the engine was a little under powered for what it was I felt. Only other thing about it was the fact that Arnold Clark Vauxhall tried to rob me of £270 to change two rear discs that were "severly pitted", not the cars fault, but just terrible customer service and out-to-rob-you mentality of Big Arny's staff that let me down. I like their new Astra GTC, but I really don't like main dealers which puts me off new cars, all the best with your new car though!

Interesting, that's the same colour name and code as my 500 has. :)
