i have a jtd dymanic and have done a few mods fitted multifunction wheel added cruse one thing i would love is to put an arbarth instrument cluster in with the colour centre display so my question is has it been done or can it be done

Yes but wasnt his a petrol. I know aside from the rev counter not being to scale but then again i guess a dial kit would cure that.

Put one in my JTD last week just so I can see the kph scale better when driving abroad.

It will need proxy aligning to stop the mileage display flashing. Also, the abarth cluster doesn't have the glowplug or water in fuel warning lights, so you won't get any warnings of problems with those. The oil level indicator fitted to early diesel Stilos doesn't show either.

If you have a Connect Nav+ fitted, navigation directions will appear in the cluster display as well as the CN+.

EDIT: The rev counter on mine seems to be accurate.

what other functions are accessible on it iv never seen one on an arbarth and don't they give things like oil temp and pressure will this still work and is there any way of seeing the oil level on a jtd with it

Yes sorry i didnt mean to scale, just the red line wont be where it should and if it was me it would annoy me that all.

I wouldnt mind a new style dash in mine saying that. Ooo and a later shape grille. Think that would look good with my 3 door bumper.:D:D

After you install the cluster, oil temp etc. will not work. They will display, but just show dead. You will also lack many functions on the cluster itself as the satnav usually takes care of it. The mileage will flash, as mentioned. After a proxy you will loose the oil temp. etc. and gain access to whatever you had on your previous cluster as it will be matched to your Stilo's BC. Tadaaaa! Just realised that there's something else that doesn't show on an Abarth cluster in a JTD.

Done 7500 miles (6500 across Europe and another 1000 in the UK) since fitting it, and there's no oil pressure light showing.

I suspect it's because the Abarth uses a variable oil pressure gauge sensor instead of the normal on/off oil pressure switch.
