ever since i've owned my car, i've offen wonderd what this little black box thing was in the top corner of my A post?. i thought it was something to do with the alarm but i've since found out that its some sort of microphone. not pursuing it any further, i removed my stereo to check on an unrelated issue and found a mass of wires an connectors stuffed in the corner on the right. on pulling the out it seems to be some sort of loom which goes behind the speedo pod. theres 3 plugs and some sort of blue thing which i've not been able to identifiy.

now my car was owned by an ex-fiat dealer man (i think?) so i'm wondering if this is the reminants of a factory fitted sat nav that was only avialible as an option on my model? perhaps he had one fitted after he bought it and then sold it on after he got rid of it?

has anyone ever seen these wires before?

I've got the exact same Mic in my stilo, its located on the light panel next to the interior mirror

Black thing at the top of the A post is a Nokia telephone microphone.

Wiring behind the radio looks like aftermarket radio or alarm wiring. It's not original Fiat wiring.

its very strange as it goes deep into the back of the dash - it looks like to fit it someone must have taken the dash out. i wonder why if it is for an aftermarket stereo why they did'nt just use the one already there?
