BRILLIANT! :worship:

Going to order a hydraulic puller now, being able to push out the old bush will save a lot of time and effort. I've been cutting them out and using a threaded puller. This confirms the hydraulic pullers have the extra power needed to do the job.

Did you reduce the diameter of the bushes at all?

Nope!! standard OEMS!!! they are the oversized bush and pushed in a treat without lowering the outside diameter, i could feel the the pressure increasing as i tightened the puller but not too hard. Its just fiddly as you have to remove it as the reach is just over 1inch a time so it takes a few resets before it home.
Pushing the old one out, i just used the old bearing i had and placed that on the other side of the bush and pushed it out, it creeps out in jolts, you get to a certain amount of pressure then it jolts out. it a bit of a pain pushing it out but still a much better way than the old cutting method, not damage is caused to the axle this way.

just remember that you need the spacer on the otherside to pull the bush though, i will do a complete walkthru when i hit the wifes car.

I've just added a link to this thread in the Guide I made. Using a hydraulic puller will make the job so much easier.

I did consider using a Hydraulic puller when I first started doing them but didn't want to spend £100 on one until I knew for sure it was capable of doing the job.

Thanks Roy, you have proven the job can be done quickly and easily. (y)
