Technical JTD relearn procedures ?

did this again last weekend after swapping map sensor a few weeks back, reset self learnt functions, switched off for 40 secs switched on and leave idle 15mins.
it seems smoother unless its in my mind or now were in a low pressure weather system?

Any chance you could upload a screen shot of where in FES you find the "reset self learnt functions"? I can't find them?

As stated in post #7 above, there's no relearn function for the JTD engine management ECU. This was also confirmed to me by a Fiat EDET (European Dealer Expert Technician) who used to post on the forum.

So is the "relearn function" missing when FES is connected to a JTD?

Only visible when connected to a Petrol engined Stilo(they have relearn functions I think)?

EDC15 doesn't have injector coding, FES is lying us.

Is the Fiat eLEARN (and possibly Examimer) also lying then?

eLEARN says the classification process applies to both the 8v and 16v JTD engines. My JTD MW has the EDC15 ECU and single digit injector classification codes in a circle on each injector.

There are 8v engines with edc16, for them - ok, but not for EDC15.
Davren, have you replaced an injector in edc15 jtd115 ?

No... my car still has it's original injectors with clasification numbers on them, and the EDC15 CF3 ECU.

I doubt Fiat would go to the expense of fitting classified injectors with an ECU that was incapable of accepting the classifications.
