I seam to have a water leak and its coming from around the rear of the center console where you insert the pollen filter.
I had the air con on and seamed to stop if I turned the air con off,Any ideas ????
I never have problems with the car and as soon as I am about to travel on Holiday it starts playing up.
the coolant in the rad has gone down also

If the leak stops when the air con is off then the drain below the pollen filter may be blocked

But then you say
the coolant in the rad has gone down also
which could be a different problem or maybe the heater matrix has a leak but they are usually pretty reliable.

First thing is check whether water is coming out of the drain below the car when air con is on. If not then you need to remove pollen filter and get something like thicker wire or tie wrap to push down through the drain

Thankyou for the reply, there was no water dripping down the hole so I stuck a metal coat hanger up the tube and water flooded out and now sorted.
Once again thanks I owe you a couple of pints (y)

Thanks for the advise,simple fix.
As for the coolant in the RAD I had a leak from the bottom RHS of the rad years ago but seemed to stop(no idea how)
Typical as the only year we are driving its reared it ugly head.
Thanks once again with the AIR con.So what blocks them(out of interest) as nothing dropped out

Great tip Decks (as always!). I will add checking the drain to my service schedule. Can you pinpoint exactly where '...below the car...' the drain tube emerges?

Drain pipe goes through the right side of the center tunnel. If you take the right plastic cover off (2 plastic poppers) you'll see the right-angled rubber drain pipe. It's easy to pull the pipe off to clean it.
