Hi everybody I have a 2005 fiat stilo and seem to have misplaced my manual and my horn isn't working and I don't know what fuse to change or what to do can any one help me with the fuse map
You don't say which engine you have as circuits can vary a lot from car to car but i would think this would be standard across the range. Circuit shown is for a 1.6
Ok check Fuse 10 15A and check if the relay T3 shown here is clicking when you press the horn switch
Power comes through fuse F10 to the relay T3. Relay is taken to earth by the horn switches D47 and operates the horn P5
Complete circuit
As the horn isn't used very often in this country, it more often just needs striking with a small hammer to dislodge crud in the horn internal contacts. Not so easy to get at though as it's behind the front bumper.
if you remove the drivers side (uk) grill on the three door- the horn is just behind that- 5 door doesnt have removable grills so its well behind the bumper

my horn was working but making a pathetic sound. After getting a quote for a new one i decided to take mine off and it was full of crap. Cleaned it out and all is well.
Not used very often here either. The other day I got overtaken on the approach to a roundabout and then cut off on the roundabout itself by the same person exiting from the wrong lane (and it was only standing on my brakes that prevented a collision). I decided to let them have a piece of my mind via the horn to let them know that what they just did was ill-judged and stupid.
...then I heard what the horn sounded like (impressive) on my Punto Sporting - I realised that I had never actually heard it in almost ten months of ownership
The better models of FIATs generally have twin wind-tone (trumpet-shape) horns (the more basic models just have a single round diaphragm horn) but I'm not sure what horns the Stilo comes with? Two wind-tone horns? Can see one in the pic above.
The Stilo's is a single-tone 'parp' - and it's pathetic! Seems to be the same for all models, I'm amazed the Italians allow it. But maybe they have superior tones for the home market...

although on the jtd it is mounted facing down not across. and the horn opening is facing back to the wheel arch liner. as half my liner is missing it was filling up with crud!
