Technical Central Locking ....Help

I've never used my manual key yet but would imagine a prerequisite to getting in the car at all is for ALL deadlocks to be deactivated.

The auto-lock feature is standard on all Stilos.

To test:

  1. Lock car
  2. Unlock
  3. Just wait about 30 secs and then you'll hear the locks auto-engage
Opening any door (or hatch) will disable auto-lock so you don't lock your keys in

I have a Fiat Stilo 1.4 (2004). When I press the central locking button on the fob, all the doors apart from the drivers door lock. What could be causing this?

I have a Stilo 1.2 Active and my remote central locking has stopped working. i can still lock it with the key but can anyone help. i have checked all the fuses and disconnected the battery but still no look. my wife tried locking the doors while one door was still open abit and it hasnt worked since. thanks

Battery in the key? They don't last forever, mine was getting a bit lazy last year so replaced it.

However batteries aren't unknown to just give up the ghost entirely.... happened on my Saxo after just 1 year, couldn't get into car at all with central locking button and using the key set the alarm off until you got in and reset it.

now then my central locking works but it wont open or lock the passenger door, ive a two door jtd, is this a battery in key fob problem? or something more sinister?

Hi. I just bought a Fiat Stilo and I have a problem with the key. The buttons does't works. I thought it was the battery of the key and i changed it but nothing. when i press the button to lock the car nothing happens same with unlock or trunk opening. If i use the normally it works but if i try with the buttons nothing happens
