Can anyone tell me what type of sump nut fits Sedici 1.9 diesel (not 4x4). Just wondering is it hex type nut or nut with bolt type? And if it is the hex type is it tapered. The nut that's in it is a bolt type nut and I cannot remove it. Any suggestions on how to remove it would be appreciated.

If there's no other reason for removing the sump drain plug other than an oil change, why not use a Pella suction pump?
I change my oil and filter every 5k miles with one. Takes about ten minutes, and a clean, easy job. Run the car until the oil is hot, thin and well-mixed, suck it all out, then change filter and refill.
I bought my Pella about fifteen years and many cars ago, and it has simplified my life (well, my oil changes).
