Click on the link to show diagram, http://goo.gl/xC4DXS, have a look to see if your fuses are numbered, it's F9 & 10amp fuse.

Checked fuse it's the only 10am and it's working
Not too sure what your reply means, is the fuse okay but the cigarette lighter is still not working?
Can you check with a multimeter to see if it's getting power (12 volts)?

Yes I checked fuse and swapped it out just in case but socket still not working

As above I would check there is power getting to the socket failing that depending on what you was using has that device blown? Can you plug another 12v item into it?

If so and still does not work id pull the cover off and check the connections

onodle beat me to the punch, the coil which heats up in the male part of the lighter could be banjoed so try plugging in another device.
Might sound a bit obvious but have you got the ignition on when you press in the lighter, some don't work with the ignition in the off position.
Only other thing I can think of is a blown relay, broken wire or a bad connection going to the back of the lighter.

Cheers

I will check all the above might help in knowing I have 2 sockets one in front one in back and both not working

Both are not working? Engine is on or off? If off does the battery start the van? You sure you checked all fuses?..

You didnt try the same unit in the front and back socket did you? And have tried another 12v device? Just to rule out that item 100%

Failing that volt meter and then test for power going to each socket and trace the problem back from there.

Still can not find what's wrong

What are you using the rear cigarette lighter for, are you using front & back sockets at the same time & overloading the circuit or done it in the past? You might have fried one of the wires.

I was using one at rear put plug in and it worked then just died checked fuze and that's working but both front and rear socket are not I have taken out both sockets and wires look fine just not power goin to them is their another fuse or relay I should be looking for

Id change the fuse rather than checking it. If both units are not working and no power getting there that's what I think it is for them both to be isolated like that. I think if a wire had burned out it would have effected another system in the van (based on how all the cables are taped from my experience in my van)

There's also a fusebox under the bonnet beside the battery, bit of a long shot but try them as well, get the easy stuff outta the way first.
