Hi, I have just bought a Punto Cabriolet but the door cards have been severely water damaged and need replacing I wondered if the door cards off a standard MK1 3 door would fit the Cabrio. All help much appreciated.

Not sure if it is a straight fit as the standard Punto has window frames. However, I don't think this affects the door card. There is also a difference between the 1.6 Cabrio and 1.2 Cabrio. The 1.2 has door cards which look similar to the standard car, but the earlier 1.6 door cards had far more shape, incorporating speaker pods and full length door pockets.

Thanks for the reply, mine is the 1.2, so there is still hope as there is more choice at the breakers yard of standard Punto's than Cabriolets.

No experience of the cabrio but sounds like it has the same door cards as a GT to me from that description..
