I'm missing one of the rubber seals at the driver side (UK) door:

On ePER I thought it was number 3 seal:

Got this on ebay but it's not the right part:

is there any part number for this?

try punto spares. Robert baxter has some cabriolets hes breaking.

Another question for you guys:

My water pipe that is coming from the thermostat to the manifold (heater matrix was disconnected) almost blew today:

It's length is only few cm's, I can fit some pipe but I want the air bleed screw.

On ePER, I haven't found the radiator piping draw for the 1.6MPI.
There is only for 1.2 and 1.6MPI but with A/C:

I found this pipe but it's only for 1.2 engine:

Also this one, but it's for 1.6MPI with A/C and there is no air bleed screw:

Is there any air bleed screw at all or someone fitted one on mine?

The only pipe I could found was without an air bleed screw.
Can anyone confirm if the cabrio comes with one?
or it's just some pipe someone fitted on mine?

how far up in the engine bay is it, its hard to tell from the pic but it looks like its too low to properly bleed anything - but not had a 1.6 before so i could be wrong. I can tell you my old GT which is same engine family didn't have a bleed anywhere, you just had to run it with cap off the expansion tank to bleed it.

I'ts going from the back of the thermostat to the heater matrix

I've disconnected the heater matrix so it's going short in some kind of short U shape to the manifold.

Would I be ok with only 1 air bleed screw on the radiator?

well certainly looks like a butchered bit of pipe from that pic.. For it to bleed the heater matrix it needs to be as high as the top of the rad inside the heater box which i suspect its not. I'd take it off and not worry myself - like i say if you run the car with the cap on the expansion tank it should self bleed anyway (but do bleed the rad one first when you refill)

Ok, I'll remove one of the hose clamps and connect it straight to the thermostat without the air bleed screw.

How do I bleed the air screw on the radiator?
While the car is cold and engine is off, should I open the cap and screw, fill coolant to the top and wait for coolant to get out the screw?

yep gravity should bleed the rad, just top up the coolant and remove the bleed screw until steady stream with no bubbles comes out and then stick the screw back in.

then just run the engine for a bit with the cap off the tank - just for 5 mins or so should be fine to clear any air. then let it cool right down and check level, top up as required.

Coolant should be top up the radiator or at the max line?

I meant while the air bleed screw is released, should I fill water up to the cap point or the max sign?

anyhow I need 2 new hoses.

Other pipe has an aluminium piece. I'll get a new pipe without it.
The hose I was talking about came from the end of the thermostat and had a long twist to the back (heater matrix). I've disconnected that one a while ago. so I just need a short one from point to point (blue in the picture).

Would that work?

Problems but solve at last.

I first got this hose which has no air bleed screw:

I've bleed the air from the radiator, but the fan won't work. temp is about 3/4. It seems that no water going up that hose.

Then I looked for a hose with an air bleed screw, found this off a Fiat Brava (new hose):

Bleed air again, engine is turned off but no water is coming off that screw.
when I press the hoses I hear psss coming off that screw.
Then I Putted the hose like flat:

When I putted it that way, water could come off the screw.
Started the car and fan worked ok.

Now to the question, Is the water pump can't push the water upward like in picture 2? or it was some good air bleeding that I've done at last?

I have just checked my Cabrio and confirm that your bleed screw is in the right place. However, you appear to have bypassed your heater altogether. The upper pipe (with the bleed screw), normally enters the bottom of the heater matrix and the lower pipe joins the top of the heater matrix. You appear to have created a loop. I have a similar experience when bleeding the system, but if you rev the engine a bit you will get water from the screw, but not a continuous stream. Nevertheless, I have never had a problem with overheating in 14 years and the heater works fine.

Thanks, could you take a picture to show me how the original hose look like?
Yeah I bypassed the heater matrix, it doesn't leak but I don't want my ECU to get wet by any chance. It's a hot country here anyway
