Does anybody have the bag that the tonneau covers fits into?, I'd like to get one made, even a couple of pics and measurements.

Mine is a yellow 1997 1.2 8V LHD in Spain
Managed to get a newish roof from a scrapyard and replaced front seats and door cards from a Mk1

Hi this is my ultra low mileage car, bought it a few years back with no history at all, but is very very clean. It’s got original London dealer plates on, does anyone recognise it ?

I have the mk1 in red with the full genuine Abarth body kit
Front rear and side skirts and Abarth steering wheel
I removed the 1.6 engine and fitted the 1.4GT engine
Disk brakes all round updated and lowered suspension
No rust full re under sealed full bare metal re spray many many mods
This was my project but due to health issues I moved
To warmer climates Spain but sadly I could not bring it out to Spain as it’s modified and that’s a big no no out hear so may put it up for sale

The build number is located on a metal plate on the bonnet slam panel just to the left of centre. It has CARROZZERIA BERTONE written on it and below that is the production number. Ours is 004793. The car was first registered in August 1994.

The red Cabrio/GT sounds a bit of a beast!

Just realised I never posted to this thread. I've had my 1998 16v Cabrio since March 2016 when it had about 61k miles on the clock, and I've put about 10k miles on it since. It had new rear floor sections last summer and is currently undergoing a suspension refresh. Here's some photos including one with my brother's 2000 20V VIS Coupe...

Does anyone recognise this old girl she has a fiat forum sticker on her shes a 98 cabrio

Picked mine up a year ago. Gradually fixing up all the broken bits - respray and new hood in the autumn. Love this picture nose-to-nose with its newer sibling. Love the orange colour but struggling with whether to keep a blue roof or change it to black or beige. Welcome thoughts.

I would probably avoid beige. Ours originally had a beige roof and it tended to look grubby very quickly, particularly where it folds. We have had a blue roof for many years now and it has always remained looking smart.
The key thing for any cabrio roof is to ensure that it folds correctly. Leave it to its own devices and the central cross-bar will be in the wrong position and it will cut the roof covering in a scissor action above the rear edge of the doors. I have discussed this on another thread with pictures.

My latest cabrio. 49.5K miles. Already done gearbox, tyres and window switches. Think I need to change a driveshaft though.20190704_152321.jpeg

Hi , I’ve just joined the forum and thought I’d make my car known . Bought it for the wife, about 2 years ago , for £450 . Only 50,000 on the clock , it had a dink in every panel , so a mate of mine sorted all the dink’s out and resprayed it for £400 ( bargain ) . The hood was in a poor state, so we had that replaced about 6 months ago for £700 ( mohair) , so all that needs doing now is for us to get a new pump for the hood . I don’t think it can be fixed , and there’s non about , so can anyone tell me if I could just get another pump of a different car and make it fit .
Anyway , my wife loves it so plenty of brownie points
