For my Punto from 2004 the shock-absorber need to be replaced.

I was wandering what a all inclusive prize would be for this.

front , or rear..??,

the rear just bolts on = cheap,

the front is a mount for the spring + bearing.. so needs assembly time too = still reasonably priced ,

also they told me that it's better to replace them both, because of the difference in shock absorption, i assume this is logical not?

yes - do them in a pair / set.

same for all suspension components , brakes..

and tyres ideally
