Styling DIY angel eyes

Hi!

I'm ordering angel eyes to my motorcycle and have been thinking to do the same job to Punto Mk2 as well.

Ordering from dealextreme.com. Sizes: 60mm-120mm. Can't post urls (not enough posts).

Now I just need to know the correct internal diameter. Have anybody measured? Those diameters on DX are external, but that's not a problem. Internal = external-16mm.

mate i make the rings for punto mk2's to perfect size i can make and sell you a set if your interested

i think if there was a diffuser over the led cirlces that jonik posted it would look good, it would avoid that dull bit at the top where the cathode tube connections are..
it would also spread the light evenly, so it would look like a single light source rather than a load of leds

Nice work Brin! Looks amazing. How much are those? I live in Finland, so the shipping costs are quite expensive.

Those at Dealextreme costs only about 15€ per set and delivery is included.

Correct size is still the main question.

120mm angel eyes on BMW, looks great.

Finally got time make this happen. Here's the final product:

They are bright enough to use as daytime running lights. I used sizes 80mm and 90mm. Color is bluish, something like 6000K.
