I'm looking to source both SW and a EOBD connector so that I can read and possibly reset all the DTC (?) fault codes including airbag, abs etc.

At the moment, I have a Launch CReader V that gives me the engine codes, but not the remainder (airbags, abs, etc etc).
I've downloaded Unidiag and Galletto 1260 sw, but need the EOBD connector. Ebay has 100's of these, but not many speak about Fiat. Most are just VW/Audi/Skoda.

This idea has been brought about by both airbag lights coming on this morning and the subsequent visit to the local Fiat thief..... €100 for a bit of WD40 spray in the passenger airbag deactivating switch (the one on the side panel) and a reset of the code - all told 12 minute's work... :bang: :bang: .

Any help welcome

yes as said above you need a kkl-interface ... most on ebay are vag-com interfaces but they should do the trick nicely. I got one for 10 euros that was shipped from hong kong, works like a charm.

Hmmm...no, not really :D
I looked it up on Google first to ge a general idea of what it was referring to. The Ebay reference, was in respect of buying a cable that supported the protocol.

Yes that interface should be fine.

Do you often do a search for information on ebay :) google (y)
